Beyond Borders: Asia on the World Stage
Program Description: The HPAIR Academic Conference is a four-day academic program with five panel workshops concurrently conducted throughout the conference. This year, panel workshop topics are Economics, Leadership, International Security, Social Policy, and Rule of Law. In addition to panel workshops, the HPAIR Academic Conference will feature ten new Thematic Workshops. During each Thematic Workshop, delegates will be challenged by speakers to think critically about real life scenarios and issues. Delegates will work together to solve these problems, and they will present their results on Day 3. To foster friendly competition, we will have awards for the workshops that demonstrate the most skillful understanding of their issues. The two plenary sessions will be on "Higher Education in Asia" and "ASEAN as an Economic and Geopolitical Region".
